The Dar es Salaam Islamic Club (DIC) is a unique socio-religious organization based in Dar es Salaam. It brings together Muslims from diverse backgrounds to share ideas, build friendships, and collaborate without discrimination. DIC provides a welcoming and peaceful environment where Muslims can learn, relax, and socialize in line with Islamic values.

One of the club’s proud achievements is the ownership and operation of a beach facility in Kigamboni, along the Indian Ocean. This facility is open to people of all faiths and offers a family-friendly, alcohol-free space for recreation, retreats, and outdoor sports.

Our Projects and Vision

DIC’s projects extend beyond the Kigamboni beach facility and include operating a school, managing mosques, and developing new beach plots in Tanga and Mtwara. The Club is also planning to build a multi-purpose Hall. This new venue will be available for rent and will host a variety of community events, such as weddings and banquets.

Our Mission

To promote unity, tolerance, and progress among Muslims, while also fostering peaceful coexistence and mutual respect between Muslims and non-Muslims. We are committed to supporting Islamic education, culture, and healthy recreation.
